Absalon announced today that the product Absalon CRM 2009 has been nominated by Microsoft Sweden for the .Net-award in the Microsoft Dynamics category.

The .Net-award is a competition held by Microsoft Sweden to promote solutions and products based on Microsoft technology. The different categories spans from business applications, collaboration solutions to technology approaches like Software+Services and mobility.

The Absalon CRM 2009 product is a vertical add-on software for Microsoft Dynamics CRM to be used primarily within Professional Services and Life Science-companies with solution-driven marketing- and sales processes as well as managing critical business processes like Project Management, Resource- Workforce Management and Business Planning & Organization.

Malmö 2009-09-16 Absalon launches vertical CRM-solution for the next generation of Life Science-companies that supports them to be part of future health-care solutions instead of part of the existing problems

Absalon announced today that it is releasing software that includes support and a solution for the new business models and business processes that today are hitting the mature market of Life Science hard.

Within Life Science and Pharma specifically there is an on-going discussion if the sales force targeting physicians in the clinics is an effective business model as the physicians influence on prescriptions are shrinking dramatically. As the trend also includes the general debate on how to improve the results of patient care as the health care cost is on the rise, the reason for only promoting drugs as a solution to the patients’ health is not credible anymore.

The Life Science team at PriceWaterhouseCoopers describes this development in a number of reports within their Pharma 2020 Vision*. One of the key opportunities today is that the Pharma companies are fighting for about 10% of the Healthcare budget. If focus shifts from the drugs to the patient solutions the Pharmas will instantly have the possibility to target the rest of the 90% in the quest on improving patient treatments and lower the overall costs for Healthcare.

Malmö 2009-05-20 Absalon International achieves Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status and appoints a new CTO

Absalon International announced today that it has reached the highest certification of its partnership with Microsoft as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Six months ago Absalon entered the partnership with Microsoft as a Registered Partner and joined the “Empower for ISV-program”, that is specially designed to help young Independent Software Vendors to build successful products on Microsoft technology. In Absalon’s case the success comes from developing and launching Absalon CRM 2009, a vertical CRM add-on solution that both has passed the Software Solution Test for Microsoft Dynamics and got credited with a fairly unique Royalty License & Distribution Agreement with Microsoft.

At the same time Absalon appoints a new CTO, Mattias Lindemann. Mattias has experience back from 1995 in developing industry specific CRM software that has been one of the leading industry specific CRM products on the Scandinavian Market. The software startup Absalon today officially launches a new ISV-solution based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Professional Services organizations and announces a global distribution agreement with Microsoft.

Absalon is a software startup developing vertical ISV-solutions based on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM-platform. According to Gartner Group, Microsoft Dynamics CRM is one of the fastest growing CRM platforms globally and the Professional Services industry is one of the industries right now growing their demands for CRM solutions.
