Absalon International achieves Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status and appoints a new CTO

Absalon International announced today that it has reached the highest certification of its partnership with Microsoft as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Six months ago Absalon entered the partnership with Microsoft as a Registered Partner and joined the “Empower for ISV-program”, that is specially designed to help young Independent Software Vendors to build successful products on Microsoft technology. In Absalon’s case the success comes from developing and launching Absalon CRM 2009, a vertical CRM add-on solution that both has passed the Software Solution Test for Microsoft Dynamics and got credited with a fairly unique Royalty License & Distribution Agreement with Microsoft.

At the same time Absalon appoints a new CTO, Mattias Lindemann. Mattias has experience back from 1995 in developing industry specific CRM software that has been one of the leading industry specific CRM products on the Scandinavian Market. Mattias has been developing vertical CRM software for Life Science and Consumer Goods on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform since 2005.

“Mattias and I both share a history when working together at Brimstone and as friends from the 7th grade of High School and the University. At Brimstone I was responsible for making the Sales and Marketing a success and Mattias was key and responsible in making the software a success.” says Sebastian Merlöv, CEO at Absalon.
